Pb blaster works great! If that and a hammer don't get it, soak the cylinder in pepsi or coke.

chris, Since you have the head off, and pan off too. Remove the rod caps, One at a time fill a cylinder with diesel about 1/3 full, set it on fire, let it burn itself out, it should free up and you are well on your way. The heat at the ring area is what breaks it loose after it moves a little soak it good with penetrating oil. Precausions and prep are allways needed make sure ALL flammable materials are well away from the tractor, Gas tank is off and away too. Also roll tractor outside if possible.
Hope this helps!
Later,
John A.

Of all the "stuck" engines I've gotten loose over the years (I've lost count) Only one didn't require use of a hammer.

I've often heard of a product called "PB Blaster" which many many people have had success with, might be worth a try.---Jeff
