I have a 560 that the steering sector seal was leaking and the splines stripped out.like an idiot ,I took the 4 bolts out that hold the p/s control valve on,thats when all the springs and doo hickeys all fell out. My big question is can I remove the front casting from the tractor without removing the radiator. Could'nt I support the radiator with a strap from above and slide the chunk out from under it? The book says to take the radiator out with it,but it looks like to me,that's a good way to damage the radiator. Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Chris the frame that holds radiator is the cover for the the power steering over the polster shaft, so I would say you have to remove the radiater and frame off the steering hausing.

I discovered a little trick. I took all the bolts out that hold the front casting in and slid it out to the last 2 bolt holes and put the two bolts in the right side frame rail, then removed the left rail ,that left the whole front end hanging by 2, 5/8" bolts but that's plenty. And it exposed everything I needed to get at,and I didn't have to lift that 3oolb chunk of cast iron. .
