Does anyone have plans or the procedture for making up a three point hitch for a Model M? Tractor Supply seems to have most of the hydraulics needed. But what size, etc.?

What part of East Texas do you live in? I have one you can look at if your close. I live in Splendora, North of Houston on Hwy 59 about 40 miles. James

No doubt some have made 3 point that is equal to Saginaw but I have seen lots of M 3 points and have not seen one that equals Saginaw yet. To duplicate Saginaw in home shop will take highly skilled fabricator and some fairly hard to find parts. Just to form and fabricate lift arms is beyond skill of most. Just my 2 cents.

I made one for an M and one for my H. Total cost was about $300 each and had over 300 pounds of steel in them. Mine is a copy of the Saganaw. I keep the original draw bars. It did take 2 full days of cutting & welding and another day for painting and hook up. The only error I made was making the first one with to short of arms. They ended up 49" long.

You have to add freight to the price listed in the other Post. That is expensive from Wi to Tx.

save yourself a lot of time and trouble and get the Saginaw 3 pt. Most heavy duty made and comes with cylinders.

Bob, I am in E Texas and I have a corn husker 3 pt on a M. If you want to come look at it, measure etc. let me know. It could be made but it will take a lot of time. I knew of a guy that used to advertise in DMN and he made them in Waxahachie but havent seen his ads in a year or so. I found one in Tyler a few years ago in ads and bought it, thats how I got mine.
