I am upgading my 350 Utility"s loader with a hydraulic bucket instead of the trip bucket. Does anyone know how to determine the output of my pump, so I can size the spool valve? I think the serial number on the tractor is 360553-R5, but there are no numbers on the left side of the clutch or tranny, where I would expect to find serial numbers.

The easiest way to add another valve is to put another original style valve in the system using longer bolts and sandwiching the new one on top of the old one. These valves are common and pretty reasonably priced.

The original specs for the 300/350 distributor-mounted hydraulics (both Farmall and Utility) were 10 GPM with the safety relief between 1200 and 1500 PSI - this may be different with your now almost 50-year-old tractor. The original hydraulic systems on these were not really set up for use of non-IH control valves; the system uses a third circuit in the control valves to load/unload the pump. This is different from most newer tractors. What you want to do may not be very straightforward.

The serial number plate is located on the right side of the tractor between the oil and fuel filters. The number you gave looks like an IH part number.

Hope this is helpful. Let us know if you have more questions.
