question for KellyC on painting work tractor

Got out my $19.99 paint gun and loaded it with thite paint. Thinned it some with IH thinner.
Painted the pannels.

Cleaned the paint gun.

460 was now dry so I tapped the lights and any other things I didnt wat to be red.
My wife had a great idea. She said to use tin foil to cover the steering wheel. Last one I did I tapped it and took for ever. Tin Foil works great for this. Also works good for the fuel bowl.

Another good thing to do. Trace out your wheels in a half moon shape from card board. That way you can hold it over the tire and still paint the wheels.( I didnt do this this time and regret it- got some paint on the tire)
Broke down:
3 hrs cleaning the tractor
2 hrs tapeing
2 hrs painting
equals a tractor you can use and not look like your using junk.

Some will scoff. But thats ok. I dont have a week to prep for paint. I used the tractor the next day. Put a nice rub mark in it from a branch wile brush hoggin and didnt feel bad about it at all.
