Where should the serial number plate be located on a W9-Diesel?? I checked out the serial number info on this web site and it stated that it should be on the left side of the tractor on the clutch housing. I can"t find anything there, and there are no signs of one being there... Help...

The serial information on this website is wrong in this case. It's on the right side of the tractor, under the fuel tank, on the fuel tank support.

Remember that "left side" is the left side of the tractor as you sit on the seat.
Should be remains of 4 small rivets or holes where it was, if it is missing.
