Australian AOS6

I've had an Australian produced AOS6 for a couple of years now,(Ser No AOS6 689 1595, Engine No 840312)in full working order, but needing some TLC. Just discovered this site and just can't believe how many people are out there interested in old tractors. Mine is almost in original condition (12v electrics), rusty and begs restoration.
I have a shop manual and IH Australia operators manual should anyone need any info from same, but don't have much info on the tractor. The Net is almost bereft of any info on IH Aust, let alone IntFarmall tractors.
I would welcome any info on the date the tractor was produced, how many were produced and any info on anyone else who has one.

Your International "AOS 6" was made in your year
1953 - 1954 (your year starts July 1st. and ends June 30 of the next year). Here is the
production numbers for the "AOS 6" tractor;

1953 - 1954 ----- AOS6 501 to AOS6 2820 1954 - 1955 ---- AOS6 3544 to AOS6 6336 1955 - 1956 ---- AOS6 6667 to AOS6 7898 1956 - 1957 ---- AOS6 8055 to AOS6 8753 1957 - 1958 ---- AOS6 9040 to ??? ????

Your year starting July 1, is a little confusing
to say the least. These SERIAL NUMBERs were taken
from IH Sales Literature (IH Australia (Dec. 1960)). Is your tractor "Diesel" or "Kero" or "Gas" ?
