My father recently bought a Du-Al loader for our Farmall 300. The man he bought it from had it mounted on an M. He had the hydraulics running off the pump on the tractor. My dad didn"t think to look at how he had it hooked up. Our question is how can we hook the loader into the hydraulic system on the tractor so it run"s off the tractor"s pump but uses the control"s that are with the loader.

should be able to run the lines from the control valve that is on the loader to the remote auxilary valves on the 300. Just have to block the contol valve on the 300 open in one direction to supply oil to the loader valve.

Dick, I was wondering if you could elaborate a little more on your suggestion. Neither my dad or I know very much about the hydraulic system. How do you go about blocking one of the valve's open?

Your way will work Ronald, but after I read it I wondered if there was a way to avoid having to block a valve open. Trying to think if there is a easy place to tee into the pressure and return lines from the pump. Can't come up with one! No big deal just trying to avoid using an old valve in a constant through put position. Dick Davis
