I'm in search of a spin-on oil filter adapter for a 504 diesel. Does anyone know of a source?

Online dealers? in reply to Stan, 10-20-2004 05:35:52
Thanks for the responses. I really appreciate it.

The closest dealer to me is at least 1.5 hours away. Do either of you know of a reputable online dealership where I can order this and have it sent to me?

Ok, now a followup question and I'll leave you nice fellas alone.

What filter (and/or number) would be used with this adapter? Presumably, the instructions/documentation that comes with the adapter would have this info. But, just in case . . .

Check with your Case-IH dealer. The D-188 four cylinder in your 504 is based off of the D-282 six-cylinder found in tractors like the 560, 706, and 656. I know they made spin-on bases for those, don't know why they wouldn't work for you.
