Hello! I am writing a college research paper in one my Agriculture Classes. I was wanting to know if anyone could help me, I am needing to know alot more info on how the farmall change American agriculture. There are several books available thru Barns & Noble that have a good evening's worth of reading that should bring you up to speed on the Farmall lineage.

Farmall was only one of the tractors that helped change the way farmers do business. The evolution from the horse to what is available today took many trials, many of which were great for a few years, but later failed.

I am sure that most of the contributors to this forum would not want to deny you the educational benefit of actually doing research as part of your research paper.

I suggest you try using google with the key words for your subject. I also suggest you include the word "university" which will help narrow the search to legitimate research and eliminate the "for sale" web pages.

I also suggest you look in you school library for actual books and original papers on the subject.

To give you a start, here is a link to a page I found using the above method. Took me maybe 5 minutes to find it. Read the article and use the bibliography.

You can contact the Wisconsin Historical preservation Society, I think that is the name, they have a lot of info on International Harvestor corporation.
