You need the POTH-167 TANDEM HITCH Then you could pull two 5 furrow #8 plows and realy cut a wide swath and get it done quick.

Hi Glenn,

I always hook just one plow to any tractor. Can't seem to make 'em tow right when they are hooked in a train.

Same way with the cultivators, never could get more than one on a tractor at a time. :>)

Glenn, I'm not sure but I think the boys are being silly tonite. I think what they're saying is that soils thoughout the USofA are so different that it is impossible to say how many bottoms you can pull not plows all I can tell you is that tractor whether diesel or gas has roughly 45 to 46 drawbar hp which equates to the fact you could pull 4 x 14" in most soils or possibly 3X16" depending again on soil types. Hope this helps. Again we don't have details do you have a Farmall or International utility? Has a lot to do with weight and tires.

Allan, I've seen two tractors hooked together to pull one plow, but I've never seen more than one plow behind a single tractor.

People's reports sound like a lot of fishing stories I've heard.
