IS it possible to run a log splitter off the hydraulics that run my 3 point hitch on my 1946 Farmall H?

Dear sirs,
we are from China.we have been exporting the log splitters for many years.
we can manufacture many kinds of them.we have owned CE&QS certificate. As the labor capital of our country is too low,the price of our product is very cheap.
we are in the hope of establishing a direct relation with you .
we are looking forward to you early inquiry. Best regards,
Hart zou

Look for a pressurized auxillary take off and a return. The log splitter should have its own bypass when not in use. Think about using quick releas connectors, This will allow you to run other things too!

It should be possible. You would have to have the original hydraulic lever there on the right side locked back so that you have hydraulic pressure all of the time. But then you probably have to do this to make the three point work. You are going to have to have your H set up to run two-way hydraulics.

It'll be slow, though, especially if you're running a 4"x24" cylinder like most tractor-mounted splitters have. My uncle used to have a chain-drive hydraulic pump that he drove off the belt pulley drive on his old M to run the log splitter.
