After reading your next question about the low drum H picker, I think the 11 was also available as a low drum late in production but I am not sure, as we did not sell many low drums. In evolutionary high drum looks: the M-10 and M-11 both looked basicly alike, the M-12 went to squared basket edges and round fan housing, the 120 went to bolted type head top vs cast alunumum head top on the 10, 11, & 12, and dual fans. In the two row high drum looks, 220 had low screen top on the basket, 220A had high tunnel down center of top of the basket, 420 had complete different drive system, basket and frame from 220/220A and othe changes, 422 is hard to tell from 420 as far as basic looks, although it has several differences. Basket extension was standard on 422 and optional on 420 for one identifying feature. Wide guide wheel, I believe 1100 x 16, was standard on 422 vs 750 x 20 on all earlier models, although 1100 was optional on 420 and 750 was optional on 422 so that is not a positive identifier either. Basicly, by looks, hard to tell a 10 from 11. Easy to tell a 11 from 12. Easy to tell 12 from 120. Easy to tell original 120 from 120A unless 120 was converted to tri clean. In two rows, easy to tell original 220 from 220A unless 220 was converted to tri clean. Easy to tell 220A from 420. Hard to tell 420 from 422. Easy to tell 422 from 622. Sory for rambling on.
