How hard would it be to add a second remote to a 826?

Aces has it right. Right now, you should have what I call a "closed end valve", meaning that oil can pass into it but not through to another valve. You need to buy a "open end valve" from any big 06, 26, 56, or 66 series tractor, install it where your valve is right now, then bolt your valve onto the left side of the new valve. If you get a valve from a junkyard, inspect the end of the spool sticking out the front. If it is pitted, it will leak and the whole thing is junk. The second lever could be a pain to install if the tractor has a cab.

We went to a tractor parts yard and got the remotes and levers from a 756 for our 826

I can't remember how they plumbed it, but I have seen an 806 where they got three valves crammed in there and added a third handle somehow. It didn't look too bad.

JW When the 706 806 came out the stack of valves had a seperate end plate then IH made the end plate part of the last valve and the 826 would have the end plate built on so you will need the valve bode with out the end plate and longer screws. take the lines loose remove the valve put the valve without end block where the valve you have is and put the one you have on as end valve and the new lines will go on the vale you have. Mabe that sounds long put it is not hard to do. You may have to get them from junk yard.
