Talked to my friend with the H and a woods mower on it today. We met in the middle on price and he is going to hold it for me till I can earn the rest of the $ and get up there to get it after the first of the year sometime. Daughter is having two teeth implanted this in Jan. that is going to run approx. 10k and insurance wont pay a dime on them. So cash is a little tight right now to say the least.I sent him off a check today to hold it for me so I guess it's a done deal. Unless the Lord comes back then I wont have to worry about the teeth or the H. Thanks all for your advice. Oh and Hugh, keep your mower out of the garden. My 81 year old father did the samething to my Moms flowers with his tiller. Ha Ha.

Paul: Just a few words of encouragement for your father, I am 19 years younger than he, and to make him feel even better, I came across a 50 year old male who shares the stigma with us. My friend has 25 Mexicans working on his vegetable farm. In an effort to keep them busy he sent them to hoe weeds down in little travelled areas around farm buildings. He then got busy with business on the phone, while the Mexicans hoed out his wife's new flower beds.

Good luck and lots of mowing with the H. I've been thinking since the comment I made about being too heavy. An H without chloride or wheel weights and having 12.4 x 38 tires and 6.00 x 16 up front, probably exerts less pounds per square inch on ground than SA with 9.5 x 24 and 5.00 x 15. You will like the Woods mower.
