I tuned up a 'H' tractor for a co-worker that he had to tow up to my place.Anyway once I got it running,I backed it out of the shop to road test it and it had no brakes at all.The serial # is 391xxx,and it has disc brakes. It has been setting for several years prior to last weekend.I've got a cheap manual but is there anything I should look for to simplify my search? It was quitting time for me when I discovered this,so I put it back in the shed and quit for the night.John.

adjust the brakes up and ride them til they get hot to break the glaze. A complete dissasembly and clean helps too.

Sounds as you have a Super H (very desirable tractor)with disc brakes. Disc brakes aren`t as desirable. They need to be cleaned and even new discs or some machine work done to smooth surfaces. Be sure to clean the balls and ramps. Good luck.

It is a 1953 H, not a super H. The supers started over again at serial #501 and only went to #22xxx. Other than your info is correct.
