Well, I did think that the cap on top of the valve cover is the oil fill, but what kind of cap goes on that tube, now there's just the "blow-by hose" wich I don't think is near any original part. And I don't think these tractors had blow-by tubes, at least our B-614 and 634 don't have that tube. But they have a "venting cap" on top of the valve cover and an oilfill tube at the right side of the engine. the 414 has a diesel engine. Maybe the gas engine is a little different.Well and for the wiring diagram, I don't really need it. I just need to know what switches are supposed to be in the dash. Wiring it correctly is that much of a problem if you can start from scratch. I know that there's supposed to be a lightswitch (that one is still in the dash), But then they've put so many other switches on and under the dash,I just can't find out what's needed. there's one pre-heat switch(key operated), an ignition switch (also key operated), the old lightswitch, a new pull-type lightswitch and a switch for the turn signals, and 2 pushswitches(don't know what they're for, are wired but nothing happens) What did these old 414's have? lightswitch ignition/pre-heat switch (or are these separate) startswitch is on the starter, it has the original "Lucas" starter If someone can tell me what switches are needed, and how they look like, that would be great. Maybe someone can take a picture from the dash and/or valve cover with the cap on top Thanks
