JUST GOT A 1949 CUB FROM MY BROTHER. IT HAS A MOUNTED PLOW ON IT NOW. I HAVE UNDER BELLY CULTIVATORS FOR IT AND I WAS WONDERING IF THEY CAN BE MOUNTED AND OPERATED WITH THE PLOW STILL ON OR DO THE USE SOME OF THE SAME BRACKETS OR MOUNTS. SURE WOULD BE HANDY IF I COULD LEAVE THE PLOW ON.

I don't think that would work very well. First, you'd have to find a way to chain the plow in the up position so you could raise and lower the cultivators without lowering the plow at the same time. Besides, it's not that hard of a job to remove the plow. Just the 2 bolts where it attaches to the reversed drawbar and the lift chain. You can leave the drawbar reversed and the depth control lever can remain in place.

Won't the drawbar be in the way and push over the crops that are being cultivated when they get taller?

The drawbar on the Cub takes only a couple of minutes to reverse or remove. The draw bar weighs some where around 40 - 50 lbs. Drawbar height is adjustable. If you think the drawbar will bother the crops just remove it.
