After spending the spring making my BN like new, it sure is refreshing to walk down to the barn after she"d been setting a month, turn on the fuel, check for nuetral, lift up the kill switch, give her 1/3 throttle, pull the choke, push the starter rod, and hear her roar to life. I use a Ford 2N for plowing, and I realized the plow was blocked in by the Farmall, so not starting wasn"t an option.

Life is good.
take Care,
Steve

PS.....the Ford Started too on 6V.

Steve - Oh whatta feeling, huh?!!

Just returned from putting away my tractors after several weekends of work at my buddy's Christmas tree farm. All have been parked outside there for the past week. Despite a brisk 3 deg reading on the thermometer this evening all three of 'em - Super H and Minnie Mo UTU (both stock 6 volt), and Super M (12 volt conversion) - lit right off to my great delight.

One this is for sure: I wouldn't want to be riding my tractors anyplace tonite!!
