I recently bought a couple of F-30 carcasses with the idea of eventually combining the best parts of both for a good restored tractor. The wheels on both are toast, so I need to decide what I want for wheels. Do I want to go with steel, or rubber? I suppose the most important question is: Which is less difficult to find? Also, which would cost less? Since there is almost no mention of this model on the net, I don't kid myself that this will be easy.

Well. Not much help here but I am looking for a hood for a duckbilled F-30. If you stumble on one I'd sure appreciate you letting me know. It will be flat across the top with no center ridge. I like my tractors either way. It is hard to parade steel but rubber gets pricey.

i know a man that has a pair of cutoffs with good 28 inch tires for sale if he can find a set or round spokes.

Steve, You will want to consider how usefull you want your F-30 to be? To put it on steel on the rear will be the most inexpensive right now. But you will find it very hard to do anything with. At least you won"t worry about leaking tires. The front is the opposite rubber will be easier and cheaper. F-20 front wheels will work! Open your E-Mail and I will point you in the right direction!

I didn't find anything in my email. Maybe I accidentally deleted it with the flood of SPAM.
