Merry Christmas All!!

I am working on getting the pneumatics going again on one of my tractors, and would like to find new hoses to hook up the cylinder (mine are gone). Thanks for the help!

Gene b's heater hose suggestion is a pretty good one. It is probably reasonably tolerant of both the combustion products and the heat. The right size should be commonly available too.

So far I have been able to scrounge an original that was still good. They look like garden hose but garden hose from back then would not hold up to the exhaust chemicals. Likewise with the hose washers of the time. They had to be neoprene or better to hold up. I don't know if the highest grade hot-water rated hoses available today would stand it or not. If you can find one that is labeled for material, you might be able to determine it will hold up OK.

The other option is hydraulic hose. The original must have been at least 5/8". You would need to find the same size so you can put the original type ends on it. That would probably be a safer bet on pressure range too. I have no idea what pressure the pneumatic lift operates at.
