Head lights on H, changing over from 6volt to 12 v

I was wondering what type of bulbs I should get to change out the OEM 6 volt bulbs now that I have changed my system to a 12 volt? I thought I heard that the standard 3157 sylvania bulbs that are used in like every Chevy vehicle would work. What have you guys used?

If they're rated for 12 Volts, and fit in the housings, they'll work.

This was on here not too long ago. I think you use #1156 12 volt bulbs. I picked some up at Wal-mart and it worked ok.

Yup,1156 is what OEM Tractor Parts lists for 12 volt bulbs.
