clutch pedal extension for H, M?

I noticed that a supplier of H and M parts sells something called a "Clutch pedal extension". It has a clevis-type end on one side with a pin and a drilled hole on the other. It looks to be about 2"-3" long. I think it connects between the clutch pedal and the existing clutch rod.

I am curious, what would be the advantage or usage scenarios for this type of part?

The clutch paddle is easier to push in with this option.

where do you get them and how do you put them on? Thank you ( do you have to do a split) or does it just bolt on from outside? Thanks Jim

Thanks DVW, The Hiesler 9spd and Lambert disk brakes were on the tractor when I bought it. Both have worked perfectly. I would think you would have to at least remove the belt pulley assembly and maybe even the deck to install the 9spd.
