Hello,I recently got a narrow front farmall 504 with p/s T/A and auxilliary hydraulics along with the 3 pt lift.Does anyboby know where I check the hydraulic fluid level and where do you fill it.Does it have a filter on the hydraulics and if so where in the world is it?Is it under the seat?? I am lost. The lift only comes up a little and I believe it is low on fluid.

To the front about a foot and down about 6" from the clutch pedal there is a cap plug with a smaller screw in it..7/8"?? plug with a#8 screw drilled to the center. That is your hydro full mark.

The transaxle fluid (Hy-Tran or equivalent) is the hydraulic fluid. The capacity is around 10 gallons.

The filter is located behind a 4" x 6" flat plate on the right side of transaxle. I think there are six bolts that hold it on.

I suggest that you get a manual.
