Has anyone ever pulled a mounted 7000 6 row deer planter with the lift assist wheels in back with a 560? I know the 560 will pull the planter, and I know I can build an adapter of some sorts (any ideas are welcome) but will I beable to lift it with the fast hitch, even if I have the assist wheels in back. Any ideas would be helpful!

Thanks
David

Hey Dave,

Boy! You go after the toughies, don't ya? :>)

Why does that planter have assist wheels? Is it equipped with liquid tanks? Or insecticide boxes and/or dry boxes making the assist wheels necessary?

If it is just a plain jane planter, I'd almost bet the tractor would lift it better without the added weight of the assist wheels.

As with all those old fast hitches, the key would be how well you can construct a hitch.

I used to hang heavy, double tool-bar, 6-row Lilliston cultivators on a fast hitch equipped 656 and the tractor just played with the things. Had two of those cultivators and they were set up pretty darned heavy.

Dunno,

Allan
