When you go up a hill,(forward or reverse)and push in the clutch the tractor will stop, however the tractor will not roll down hill on its own like a car would it seems to be in a bind. What is wrong with it??

Nothing is wrong with it. They had a kind of hill holder when you let the clutch out just a tad, you would feel it engage. Our 460 did that for 35 years of tough use & the old girl just kept on working. That old 460 should be in the Smithsonian!

studeman: Van is right, these TA and clutch adjustments must be kept adjusted. Close doesn't count, it must be by the book and to the exact tolerances listed.
