I just finished a touch control block on a super a and was very hesitant at first after seeing the exploded view. I dont know if its any where close to the sc unit or not. First thing is pressure wash the block and area real good and then remove the unit from the tractor. Clean the unit real good again after its removed. When you disassemble it, have a place where you can lay all the parts in the order they came out so they go back in the same place and order they came from. Keep everything CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! or make it so. After I cleaned the block real good and blew it out, I then felt all over for burrs and scars and smoothed anything rough down with a stone. Get a manual or a copy of the exploded view from the dealer parts book but still pay close attention to how it comes apart as sometimes the manual leaves a little to be desired. Take pictures if need be. When you reassemble it, do one part at a time and double check it. Everything should move smoothly. Be carefull with the installation of the new o-rings, roll them on or in place if possible and use hyd. fluid on the reassembly. Use light grease to hold parts in place if needed. Rool or twist the parts with o-rings back into the bores as not to tear the new o-rings up. It looks difficult but I would say the hardest part is getting started on it. There are many guys on this forum that helped me do mine and if I can do it, believe me, anyone can. Hope this helps and post back if you need any help. scott#2
