I purchased one of those CASE/IH parts CDs and the darn thing doesnt work. You have to install a setup file to install the rest of the program, and there is a file missing PSP.exe .This thing was unbelieveably expensive.Anyone else have one of these and did yours work? All I get is error messages.

Paul, I have been using mime for about a year now. I am running it on Windows 2000 and XP. No problems. I would suggest going to Start, Settings, Control Panel, and then Add/Remove Programs and try to uninstall the Personal SupportPro. Then re-install it. If I remember right when I put the CD in the computer it automatically started installing itself. If it doesn't automatically start there is a Setup.exe in the root of the CD. If that doesn't work feel free to e-mail me. It is un-covered. PS. My version is running pspro.exe. I couldn't find a psp.exe on the cd or my hard drive. It maybe that we just need to change the "target" for the icon. Randy

This is an extremely long shot. Go into DOS, type the letter of your CD drive, see if you can find the directory that the .exe file is in. And type the name of the file -- see if it runs. Took a long time to wean myself off of DOS, I still look for things there, even though XP doesn't need it, unless someone still uses DOS programs.

Maybe -
Your file association for jpg (or on of it's variants) is set to Paint Shop Pro.

Dave:

PSP is not for Paint Shop Pro in this case. PSP.exe is the excecuteable file for Personal Support Pro - which is the CaseIH Parts Disc.

Paul:

I have the PSP CD and it works fine. I am running it under Win98SE. What OS are you running it under? If XP Home/Pro you may have to go to Win9X emulation.

Otherwise, send me an email and I will attach the needed file.

The file missing is PSPro.exe
When you install PSPro it seems to breeze by the install status area right to finished. The file PSPro.exe is missing from the install.
The next question would be...do you load the CD from PSPro.exe?

There is no README files or literature at all.

When a post takes forever to load, use the left arrow key and you will see the notation for your post. If that doesn't work, (it no longer works on mine) wait a few seconds, exit this site and reload -- it will be there, a pain in the patoot, I know--Happens to me all the time.
