Stuck clutch on a B

Everything was fine when I parked my BN last November, but now the clutch is stuck. What would cause that to happen in a few months? Rust I guess? The tractor was kept its entire life outside with no protection and worked fine - this summer I restored most of it, and put it under a brand new waterproof canvas - and this is the thanks I get. ;)

I see some posts saying to put it in high gear and slam on the brakes, as well as some saying to try to pull something that won"t move. Before I go abuse my tractor, I wanted to verify this is the right thing to do.

If you have the time, block the pedal down for a day or two. Sometimes a sticky clutch will pop free on it's own when the pressure has been off for a while.

Otherwise, driving it around while depressing the clutch, and jerking the tractor with the brakes will probably do the trick.

It's not really any worse than if the tractor was being used for fieldwork, and a steering brake was applied hard at each end of the field to aid in turning.

New clutch, pressure plate, and freshly turned flywheel, right? That nice shiny, clean metal rusts like crazy. A little "clutch schmutz," glazing, from use will help keep that from happening again.

Clutch, plate, flywheel - all are factory original and still seem to work fine.
