Iam looking to put rings and bearings in a c-60 engine in a 154 loboy. I work at dana corp. and can buy them from work. the book only list cub. not cub loboy or 154 loboy. Are the c-60 the same in all of the cubs? And what is the best way to get the pully off the front of the crank? Thanks Bill

That engine is basicly the same but it uses aluimiun pistoins where as the regular cub engine uses the cast iron pistons and i think that you can get them from Howards Enterprises in Lynn Ind. if not then you will have to go to your Case IH dealer they will have the correct pistons for that engine and for all of you boys that have reg. cubs and want a bit more pony power this is what you need along with the carb from a 184 it will almost double you power.

It's a bit bigger and flows better.

Hi Bill, I checked with our local machine shop
as to what they charge to degrease a block and they charge $45.00 and $15.00 per hole for boring the block oversize. They've been in business for over 75 years. They bored a GM block for me and with the machining and new parts it cost me $600.00 and I reassembled the engine. That also included having the crankshaft polished, new cam bearings and camshaft, new oil pump and pistons too.

Slappy is right on pulling that pulley. You do not want to pull on the outer edges of the pulley, the metal is too thin. Hal

Do not try to pull using the pulley flange. It may seem like a good idea, but many people have broken the pulley doing this.

They are the same, but if you need to bore the block,do that first then get your pistons.DO the same for the crank and rod bearings.the front pulley on mine came off fairly easy with some PBBlaster and a small propane torch and rubber mallet.

Hi Bill, I think those C60 Cub engines are all the same bore and stroke. To remove your pulley
you need a puller similar to this. John in MO
has one too. Hal
