Finishing up a 574D Utility [ eng. seals paint etc. ] it had been sitting for a few yrs. Now the 3 pt. wont raise , it will move just a little and thats it . It worked fine when parked . I`m thinking air in the system , how do you bleed the 3 pt. ? The steering works fine . Any other Ideas ?

TG,

You bleed the 3 point just like a power steering unit. Just keep cycling it for 15 to 20 times and the air will evantually work itself out.

Hi, may be the unload valve is stuck. Check with engine running, raise the hitch and pull in same time the remote lever. If the hitch raise, you have dirt in the unload valve. This valve is under the seat and you remove the large plug for access. One tric, loose the large plug, unload valve, 2 turns and start the engine, the hitch should raise if the valve is stuck. It have a small hole in the valve and just blow dirt by air. Place new O rings. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
