OK.. I'll admit it . I need a manual that will give me all the tolerances and specs to do this job. I don't like the look of the ring end gap, or the side tolerances in the ring/groove fit. Or the wear on the front/rear of the pistons and lack of wear on the sides. Or why the rod bearings have little side wear , but contaminate groove wear. Like they were not hardened too spec. Looks like the sleeves are way too much egg shaped. Who has a detailed engins spec book?

You need to pull that engine in order to to remove the crankshaft. The clutch and flywheel
are attached to the crank and the splined shaft from the gear train is interfaced with the clutch disc. Its easier to work on too. Hal

They sell them here at YT on your left theres a book company Some one else will tell I cant remember this am the IT shop manual is avalible and will have everything you need to do this job and check the tollerences it sounds like she is inneed of a complete rebuild. There is only like 1/32 per side on the 3/7/16 sleeves so if there worn alot you may be close to the block.Do you have a Tractor supply in your area they usally have books. I can get them too. JON
