Scroungin' for Parts

I"m taking a cab off of an old tractor and in the process ran into the need to find some really "odd-ball" parts & pieces.

I put an ad in the "Classified" section and within an hour found everything I needed. Those classifieds do work; "bout the fouth or fifth time now that I"ve used "em and every time, someone always comes thru.

You reminded me. I completely spaced off those filler panels and just put in the order; hope he can find the little rascals. This feller says that they just pulled an open station 1066 into the shop to part out, so maybe I'll get lucky just this once. :>(

Mike at Steelwheelranch has those battery covers @ $21 a pop.

The 6 volt batteries work just fine, but Optima also makes the narrow skinny things in a 12 volt version, so that's what I'm going with & I'll wire in parallel.

It works on the 'Hauling' thing too.

Downside is that I'm a little overstocked on the darned tipout toolboxes that I've been whining about, but too many parts is sure better than not having what a guy needs.
