Hydra Touch Question

Strange,but when my one way loader (U34)is upward and the tractor (300U) is shut off,moving the lift control either direction lowers the bucket arms.Yes,the valve is still set to "DUAL" action and the downward hose is still plumbed into the reservior drain (as per my previous posts),but I dont understand why moving the lever to UP would bleed off pressure making the loader go down by gravity.A control valve wear problem?

Could it be that when the pump is not pumping that presure applied to the output causes the fluid to flow through the pump in reverse?

That makes sense.It actually lowers faster going that way than the other way.
