Gotta Love It!

Heck yeah, I farmed for years with those Hs and Ms, pushed snow all winter long and never thought a thing about it.

Moved up here in the hills and all the rules have changed on me. Bummmer! :>)

At first, we did not live on our farm, so we had to drive to it, say about 3 miles, and get the chores done morning and night. If the lane was snowed in, Dad and I would park on the road and trundle in to the barn and fire up the H. We would then use the H to wallow out the lane by just driving up and down it a few times so that we could get the truck to the barn. This was a must as we had no well on the farm yet, and we had to truck water in to the livestock.

Some of my first seat time on our H was packing down the snow. I was fascninated at how well the Old Girl would walk thru deep snow.

Uh, don't be in too big a hurry to play with your A in the snow. Look what happened to me when my daughters came to visit and we decided to take the old farmalls for a stroll in the field. The H made it through, the Super C did, and the Super A, well, we had a real ball getting this guy outta here! The girls learned all about driving tractors, getting stuck, and hooking up a chain to get towed out! All in all, a fine day!
