Is it normal for the gauges on an H to be under the hood just in front of the hood? I haven't had an H before and not sure if that is odd or not.
Thanks

Neither of my gauges are original but they, like my heart, are in the right place.
The pine pollen was bad last Spring.

Mornin' William,

Me too. Every time I crawl on this tractor, the thought runs through my head that the oil pressure gauge is wrong.

But I calm myself down and remind my "picky self" that as long as it's got good pressure, quit the worrying. :>)

Bad light for a picture this mornig.

Allan

H and M farmalls have a raised rib with the steering shaft in it. this has a swelled up kind of triangular bulge near the middle of the removable section of the hood. The oil and H2O temp gauges are mounted on a metal bracket under this bulge, so as to not have to be taken apart to remove the hood
