That W4 looks like you put a lot of work in her. I'd love to get a new set of fenders for mine. Any ideas where? Or should I just console myself to a lot of body work.

David Grindle is the fellow for W4s. Great guy out of Wi. He can find em (or have them) if anyone. I opened my E-mail. If you wish, contact me and I'll send you his E-mail.

Sloroll I don"t post here much but your picture caught my eye. Was wondering if you could tell me about the rear wheels on the 504. I have one but the wheels are the style of the 656 - 450 etc. Mine are 13.6 x 38 tires, what size are those ? Just never seen wheels like that on a 504. By the way they all look nice. Thanks

Those wheels were new to me too. I haven't seen them in any book. They came off of what I believe to be an all origional 504 Diesel. My tires were not great and the rims were half rotted. I found these complete for the price of good used tires and put them on. I liked that they were odd. The tires are 13.6X38 on 12" Thanks! Bill

That"s a great looking bunch of tractors. I"m especially fond of those old F-tractors like that one in the back. Kevin

I have a '49 H that I just can't bring myself to restore. The red is actually rust color(not rusty, just rust colored)and runs too sweet to tear into. I did an in frame on it about 10 years ago(head job, hone and rings). Plus it pulls the hm150 3disc I got last month like there's no tomorrow! I started the regular up for a buddy at work during lunch break today and it sounded so good I waas like a proud father showing off.

She is going away Cowman. It has the combine engine in it. It runs great, starts right up and pulls hard but will cost more than it is worth to convert it back. I'm not a staunch purist but ... I want the origional engine. I didn't think it would bug me but it does. I've used the little girl a lot and it will make a dandy chore tractor. All of the tractors started with less than two revolutions of the crank.

I dont think it would "bug" me. I've been running a WD Allis for 7 years with the wrong block. But I have way too many tractors already.

Hmmmm,

Isn't it funny how things like that will work on a guy's head?

I know I made a total and complete fool outta myself over my $2 tool box, but it just drove me nuts until I had it right!

I guess it is the power of red.

Allan

Slo,

You gotta get those things out into the sunshine a little more often.

That one off to the right and just out of the picture seems to be sprouting wings. :>)

W4 is correct. She is really sweet. I can't get used to sitting with my legs out front of me though! Not really a baby voluntr7. It is a Cub. :? ) If I remember right a 1963 model 100.
