As you know i tried to put new bushings on my M seat to stop the motion in it. I didn't have good luck, but now i know to use a putty knife and dish soap. Now, I cracked the pivot rod on one side cause i got hammering on it, I got a price on a new one and they are $50 CDN!!. Can one of these be made? or do i have to find a used one? Does anyone have a spare one layin around?

This is a perfect opportunity for a little shade tree engineering, Nebraska Cowman has the right idea. Probably lots of them fixed that way.

Mitch, why don't you just make a bushing out of a piece of steel tubing. it won't be threaded inside but you can just run a half inch bolt clear through and put a nut on the other side.

Mitch:
Sorry, I don"t have one.
Did you call Steve Radford to see if he has one? I got a whole new seat assembly off of him last fall and he was VERY reasonable.

Hope this helps,
Jeff
