The Propane H is running! Yes! we had OHOAT!First we discovered that the H tank was realy for and M. Then after cutting and welding We find the coprrect tank! Then the Ensign converter was rusted out so we put an Impco on. Now today i find a good W ensign. Now do you suppose I should find another project H to build? And what will it be this time? Wide front maybe? Oh, I know, how about building a "utility" H propane using 28 inch tires and a standard tread wide front off a combine?

With square top fenders of course. Don't wanna offend Harley in this "group assisted" project! :>)

Glad ya got 'er goin' Cowman. I also, do not think a picture or two would be totally out of reason in a special situation such as this.

You do have certain standards you must maintain on this site, ya know.

Allan

Sounds like it might just work, put a TA in it, paint it white and call it a demonstrator.

As soon as the weather straightens up I hope to begin restoration of an H v8 experimental. If I understand it correctly, this was an early venture between IH and Ford, which eventually led to the use of IH built diesels in Ford trucks. Can anyone shed a little more light on this?

Well gee, I mean if there actually is such a thing as a super HTA, then surely there must be such a thing as an experimental H-V8? I mean IH did build a couple of V-8 powered tractors, I'm sure they had to have had an experimental model somewhere to use as a test mule.

Hey Rusty, I think we ought to build one like Sloroll wanted last week. SHTALP w/ front wheel assist, square top fenders, wide front end, Gensco airplane tires, live hyd., power steering, 9-speed trans., after market seat with armrests, custom Harley-built slant steering wheel, chrome straight pipe, 15.5x38 Goodyears with raised white letters, 4 wheel weights on each side in back, full rack of suitcase weights in front, front fenders, chromium plated fully illuminated spinner knob on the steering wheel, 12-volt of coarse, split fire spark plugs, electronic ignition, JEGS coil, Mikuni side draft 144 MM carb,..... ..... ..Oh well, you get my drift. :-) Harley
