I picked up a 51" Farmall Super C last weekend for a fair price knowing it was seezed up. I have seen messages on this board in the past of a product you can buy and pour over the valves to unstick them. Can"t remember to save my life what that was, a little help would be appreciated. I also heard you can pour hydrolic fluid down the spark plug shaft and get the same results. Thanks for your help

Transmission fluid will work too. Just need to be patient. I've had some pistons to come out
without much trouble and on some the sleeve and piston came out and I heated the sleeve with a torch. You can not beat that heat. I only needed the connecting rod since I was installing
a new sleeve and piston kit. Hal

You left ou the word Sometimes. In my many stuck engine dealings only about 1/8 have easily come unstuck. Remedies come from any penetrating oil to occasionaly some one mentions Coke (cola). Usually it requires a block of wood and a mallet or a press. A quick comment on your Super C. I bought one that was advertised as stuck. I pulled off the starter and "PRESTO!!!" good engine. Those starters can get in a bind occasionally and give the tractor an appearance of being stuck. Best money I ever speant on that Super C! It is worth a check and see on yours.

Starter worked great. Took it off and it spun just find...after I cleaned the Wasp"s nest out of it.

Hmmmm,

Shucks, I do everything wrong!

I bought one that supposedly had a bad starter; and then turned out to be a stuck engine. :>(

Guess that for every action, there has to be an equal an opposite reaction. :>)
