Need to replace one piston on the 200. The bore and piston measure 3.250 but all the data books I have show it to be 3.125 as std.

Is this over size and will Super c pistons fit the 200?

Thanks guys for all the good info, you are right about the extra performance, this is one aggressive tractor compared to a regular C.

Super C pistons will fit if you have one that is
3.250" to match your other pistons so they're all
the same size. Hal

Overbore kits to convert Super C's and 200's to 3 1/4 bore were commonly supplied by M&W back then. Even IH offered the Fire Crater 3 3/16 pistons. I have the Fire Crater kit in my Super c and it made a real horse out of the tractor. Even today A&I supply a 3 1/4 overbore kit for the Super C and 200. It fits right in with no alterations. For the Fire Crater kit you also got a new distributor shaft and springs to provide a greater advance.

George,
The distributor kit was designed to limit the advance as less advance is required with more compression.

Standard bore on a 200 is 3-1/8, so yours looks like an overbore set of pistons and sleeves was installed.

I think Super C pistons should fit a 200, but I haven't compared part numbers to verify it.
