I am having a shifting problem with a IH 350 Utility it will shift into any gear very easly but when you want to change gears it acts like it is stuck, sometimes you can change by shakeing with a great amount of pressure or by hitting it with your fist. I put a new clutch disc, throw out bearing and pressure plate in it not long ago. The clutch is adjusted with about 1.5 to 2 in of free travel, I have tried adjustment but that dosen't help. What can I do to fix?
Thanks
Don

Don: Migraine is right, if the tractor has TA, adjustment must be made by the book and to the letter. Close doesn't count, not even a little bit. The main clutch and TA clutch must operate in sequence.

If the tractor is equipped with a TA (Torque Amplifier) sounds like it is out of adjustment and not releasing when you depress the clutch. You can try to pull the TA lever back to the low side setting before shifting . If that releases the pressure to allow shifting, then some adjuustment is in order. If it has no TA then the clutch and throw out bearing must be getting dry or soft in the pressure plate. Migraine
