My dad is having a hard time finding original style steering knuckle for his b. the ones he's come up with look like standard u-joints whereas the originals were much smaller. no luck at c/ih dealer. any suggestions???

This is pretty valuable info. I put a c-clamp on one section and pull it together then heat it with a torch. Let it cool and then do it to the other one. Takes the play right out of them unless they are realy shot. Have done this to several ones with great results. Try it works for me.

Origional looking U-joints aren't available, thats why I havent changed mine yet. I plan to take my origional to a machine shop and see if they can drill out the origional "cross" to a standard size with a grease fitting. Then braze over the ends to make it look origional. May try it this weekend as you have reminded me of it. Dave.

get the dimentions from IH and go to a place like KATCO that specializes in pto shafts. should have one small enough there;;;;;
