B Farmall... Cultivision?

I'm restoring a 1946 B Farmall with my cousin and I have a couple questions regarding cultivision. the seat is offset to the right side of the tractor, which makes me think that it is considered a cultivision model. I don't know though, and I can't find any cultivision decals, etc. on it. Is there anything else I can look at to find out? Also, what's the difference between a "B" and a "BN," because this tractor is a B with a narrow front, but it's got B decals on it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Both the B and BN came narrow front from the factory. The BN is simply a narrow tread version(rear wheels closer together) of the B.

A buddy of mine has restored a BN. It's got "cultivision" lettered across the BN decal on bothe sides at the front of the hood. Don't know if this is "correct" however...

The difference between a B and a BN is 8" rear width. A B is 8" wider than a BN. Either could have single or dual front wheels, but always a narrow front, no wide fronts from the factory.

Measure the differential shaft length as shown in the picture, if it's about 22 ", it's a B. If it is about 18". it's a BN.

Like Harold said, they all have "Cultivision"

All offset Farmall's were called "Cultivision" which was a marketing term named because you looked right down on the crop when cultivation. The BN is a narrow version of the B. The easiest way to tell difference is to look for space beside right seat support.
