The last time I asked for help, someone said I needed to find more serial numbers. Here is all the serial numbers I could find. If anyone could help with the year and any other info would be greatly appreciated. I bought this tractor from my father about 6 yrs ago for $1.00. Thanks in advance.....

main serail#-FB16750
below the fly wheel-2254D
engine block-437DC and it has a wt together below the #.
Block-spark plug side-2291D
Frame-2328D
Fly wheel side frame-2329D
Water pump-5359
Air cleaner-2020
Rearend-2251D
I'm not sure what this is called, but there is a large casting housing below the seat with the number 2403DA. I think it lifts up cultivators. It has a handle you push and pull....

Thanks again

I believe the last of the duckbills were in 34 possibly very early 35. Check and see what is stamped on the left frame rail top side right along side the clutch bellhousing (it should start with FB. Check the number on the block just to the left and high of the carborator too. Not the raised cast number but the number stamped in the raised milled flat area. I'm thinking someone may have mixed and matched a tractor.

Great, I don't think I will ever figure out what I have. My father bought this tractor from the owners son who bought the tractor new. The son said it was a 1937. What about paint colors?

The first red F-30 was #19064. Smaller numbers were gray. Larger were Red.

I believe they went grey in Nov of 36. Those other two numbers (on the frame and block) will tell the rest of the story for you. Not to worry, If someone put the wrong front end on they can be found rather easily. It could be someone just put a different tool box on her you can restamp an appropriate tag too. Those other two serial numbers will tell. All three numbers should be close to each other within 75 anyway. Good luck

According to the main serial number, this would appear to be a 1936. You can check this in the Serial Number heading under Research & Info on the left of the forum page.

Thanks for the info. The last time I ask for info, I beleive it was nebraska cowman that said he didn't think they made duckbills in 1936.
