hey guys got a puzzling question with 2 parts, 1st is got a new Bush Hog 3210 pull type with a one way cylinder and self leveling hitch and the fasthitch will lift the front just fine shut it'll even lift the tractor (1956 Farmall 400, but she will not lift the cylinder I'm wandering if tis because she's setup for 2-way and the cylinder 2-way cylinder setup for 1-way with a breather in the other port, do I need to put another hose on and set it up as a 2-way. sorry so long, Thanks alot ahead of time David in Amo

Which hydraulic port are you hooked to? If the valve is set to single acting and using ports on
right or left of tractor the line to cylinder is suposed to connect to port to rear.If you happen to have the larger gas tank the outlet lines on
sides will be vertical.I think you hook to top outlet for single.Since you have fast hitch im guessing the cylinder line is not being used on the rear outlet lines bolted to battery box.Also guessing you have a 3 valve set up in giving this info.

dont listen to them david. 8 -- 1/2" bolts on the right side and the hood is off. the valve switches are right there. take you 10 min to figure out if thats what it is...you need both hoses hooked up for 1- way or 2-way

I would switch around the hose couplers under the seat first ( if one isnt larger than the other)then try the switch under the hood..

Making it 2-way won't help, unless you're running the reservoir out of fluid.

Is the valve on the tractor set up for 1-way? On top of each valve is a thing that you turn with a wrench to select 1-way or 2-way. On a 400, you have to practically disassemble the tractor to get to them, so it may be easier to convert it to 2-way.

I believe she's set for 2-way being she's got 2 hoses coming off that valve Thanks David
