I purchased a rockshaft with three point to replace the bareback that came on mine, The old one operated a sicle mower. After I installed the three point I have no hydraulics at all not even the sicle mower. The hydraulics are not even trying to work. The one I put on is supposed to be good and it is exactly like the old one except it has the three point lift arms. Any suggustions?

Jerry, This is Jeff in INDY...might try taking the large line loose on the inlet side of the filter and rigging a make-shift oil supply to force feed the pump to help prime it. I think once you get pressure flowing and suction started, the oil pickup that you installed on the rear top cover should prime itself. Might also be a blocked bypass valve and sounds like the vet may be able to walk you through those scenarios.

Now that is one I H tractor that i have never worked on so you'll have to give me some time to dig up the Hdy's scymatics and i post later on that one but i think that ya got a line wrong or a stuck valve , not sure on how the oil get from the transmission to the pump and from the pump to the rockshaft housing , but i will look .

I'd appreciate any help on this. Maybe it is a stopped up valve but not sure.
