Then tried to start it almost acts like it is out of time but don't know. It don't even try to start. Could someone please help me out with it. Thanks alot, Donny

If you shut it down with the throttle wide open, you may have just flooded it. Open the throttle half way and try starting it. You could let it set a couple days. Might also try new spark plugs.

Since the timing is gear driven on the C I doubt it "jumped" out of time.

Here is a troubleshooting method for checking your ignition system posted by Wayne Swenson last month. No spark? Clean and dry the distributor
cap. The following info is assuming a battery-coil ignition.

1. Is there battery voltage at the coil? Use a test lite or volt meter.
2. Is there battery voltage at the points? Use test lite or volt meter.
3. Remove distributor cap, rotor, points cover & remove the coil wire from the distributor cap & put it within 1/4" of a ground.
4. With points closed & ignition switch on, snap the points open a few times and watch for spark at the coil wire end.
5. No Spark, may have burned or dirty points, a bad condenser, or a bad coil. Coil primary (battery voltage) wire to points must be attached to + on the coil if your battery + grounded.

You may want to run off a copy of this for your files. Hal

You need to check to see if you're getting a good hot spark to the plugs. Pull off one of the plug wires and hold it about 1/4' away from the engine block and have someone crank over the engine with the ignition switch on. You should have a hot spark if the ignition is ok. If the spark looks ok you need to check for gas at the carburetor.

Pull the distributor cap and check for a broken rotor, but I doubt if this occurred.

The easiest way to check to see if it jumped timing is is to pull No1 plug near the radiator
and have someone crank the engine by hand while you hold your thumb over the plug hole until you feel compression against your thumb. Then stop
the cranking and you look for the timing mark on the flywheel. You want that mark aligned with
the indicator. Your No1 piston should be at TDC.
Pull the distributor cap off and see where the rotor is pointing. It should be pointing to No1
plug wire. You may want to put some chalk on that
timing mark. By the way that's on your tractor's flywheel. Hal
