I am in need of one rear tire for my H. It has the 12 x 38 rims and 13.6 tires on it now. My local Ford dealer has a used but nice 15.5 x 38 tire and only wants $50.00 for it. That is the only tire that I have found so far. Should I buy or wait and find a tire that is smaller?

sounds like a good price but it's going to be two sizes bigger than what you have. not a very good match. I have lots of tires but am in southwest Nebraska. maybe too far for you.

Where are you located? Do you have any 14.9's? How much for one or two?

I want to check the tranny and stuff before I put to much into new tires and other stuff. I have to cut straw next week for Preminm white straw.cut it green and let the sun bleach it out and bale it. Yep the horse people love it. It looks better in the stables also. Plus guranted to be seedless for dressing strawberrys and such . Around here it brings about a buck more a bale. I usally use rye just when I see the polination happening ie the dust blowing in the field I cut it before the seeds swell in the heads. This year a guy sold me wheat becuase rye seed is getting exspencive becuase the potatoo farmers are hogging it up to plow under after its a foot high. Ant ways usally the wheat only gets about 3 foot tall around here but mine is 5 going on 6 feet for some reason. I will cut it and let it lay for a few weeks untill its bleeched and dry then bale her up into small square bales. JON P.S. its a yellowish white I have not ever seen it actually white as snow or anything.

I"ve heard the horse racing stables love it. Its one of the cleanest straws around. Rye straw comes close to it if the crop was sprayed for weeds. I"ve mowed some just before polination occures, works well, city people love it. My 2 cents.
