Got issues with the left turn signal on a 3088. Both flashers work with the light switch in the first and second positions as they should. With the signal light switch in the right turn position, the right flasher flashes and the left flasher comes on solid as they should. In the left turn position, the right flasher comes on solid, but the left flasher does nothing. This all started after the NH dealer failed to correctly match the wiring in the 7-pin lighting connecter on the new chopper to the tractor. Does anyone know if there are seperate flasher units under the dash for the turn signal positions and the warning light position, or am I looking at a turn signal switch problem here? All of the fuses are good.

the turn signal switch and the flasher unit are one. the turn signal handle is connected to the flasher unit. there is also a heavy duty kit available from the dealer. steve

It would help alot if they would standardize the wiring on the 7 pin outlets on farm equipment. Most of them seem to use the same pins for the flashers and tail lights but I think I've rewired most of our's to make them all the same. Even with the new style Magnum flasher unit I can't seem to get more than a couple of years out of a flasher unit in our 1086 and 5488.
